WHEELING PARK COMMISSION REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) FOR THE ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN OF A MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL SYSTEM AT OGLEBAY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the WHEELING PARK COMMMISION, hereinafter referred to as the OWNER, will be accepting Request for Qualifications until 2:00 PM on March 27, 2025, from architectural and engineering firms to provide professional services for design, plans, specifications, development of contract bidding documents, oversight of the bidding process, construction administration and observation, for the design of a new mountain bike trail system at two dedicated zones at Oglebay in Wheeling, WV. This trail is intended to be 4-6 miles in length, geared mainly towards beginner riders, but also contain sections for more intermediate riders. Request of qualifications should be submitted to Mr. Ryan Wilson, Director of Horticulture and Grounds for the Wheeling Park Commission, 465 Lodge Drive, Wheeling, West Virginia 26003. All proposals must be received by the OWNER no later than 2:00 PM on Thursday March 27, 2025.
