SOLICITATION OF BID The City of Dunbar will be accepting bids for interior remodeling at Dunbar Fire Station #2 located at 2022 Roxalana Rd, Dunbar WV. SCOPE OF WORK: Concrete and Drain: Replace drain pipe along edge of Roxalana road for approximately 60 feet with 15″ HDPE pipe Install 24″X24″ knock out drop inlet with grate at mid-point of station garage door. Remove asphalt and concrete from garage door to Roxalana road and prepare for 8″ new concrete, approximately 1260 square feet. Repair drain line from floor drains inside of garage bay as necessary. Foundation repair: Leak repair around station will consist of removing and re-installing two (2) A/C units and a gas powered generator. Excavate along left (north) side and back (east) of station to footer level. Pressure wash the exterior walls of excavated area, then apply two (2) coats of foundation sealant. Install new 4″ SDR-35 perforated pipe in fabric sleeve to daylight along the northside wall and onto the parking pad of the south side.
