SEEKING SEALED BIDS The Mingo County Commission, 78 East 2nd Ave, Room 308, Williamson, Mingo County, West Virginia is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors for Janitorial Services for the Mingo County Courthouse and Annex buildings. The specs for the janitorial services are as follows: Keep both buildings and outside property in clean and orderly condition Perform deep cleaning as requested Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum floors Gather and empty trash in both buildings daily Clean, sanitize and stock restrooms Wipe down and sanitize surfaces Shampoo rugs and carpets as requested Wax and buff floors Maintain supply list for ordering Wash windows monthly Ability to stand and walk for long periods Ability to lift and move over 50 lbs. Time-management and multitasking abilities Ability to work with minimal supervision Available weekends and evenings, if needed Any and all other cleaning duties as assigned by the county commission Bids will be accepted by U.S. Mail or hand delivery to: Nathan Brown, President, Mingo County Commission, c/o Leigh Ann Ray, 78 East 2nd Ave., Room 308, Williamson WV 25661 no later than 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2025 and will be opened and read aloud in a public meeting beginning at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope “JANITORIAL SERVICES”. The Mingo County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities on the bid process. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 30 days of the date of the bid opening. The successful bidder must be licensed to do business in West Virginia and will enter into a contract agreeable to the Mingo County Commission and must present proof of insurances and business license in bid packet.
