ADVERTISEMENT TO BID Sealed bids for the Mt. Zion Public Service District’s Submersible Mixer Upgrade for the Water Tanks will be received by the Mt. Zion Public Service District, 4418 South Calhoun Highway, Grantsville, West Virginia 26147 until 2:00 PM LPT, on June 12, 2025 for furnishing labor and materials and performing all work set forth in the Advertisement to Bid, Instructions for Bidders, Bid Bond, Bid Form, and Contract Documents prepared by Potesta & Associates, Inc., and all addenda issued prior to receipt of Bids. Immediately following the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids, all proposals which have been submitted in accordance with the conditions of this project will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Work to be bid upon is generally described as follows: Purchase, deliver, and install two submersible tank mixers for the Poe Gunn and Millville water tanks located at Calhoun County. The final installation shall include electrical connections. Construction time limit for the Contract is 90 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion. Instructions for Bidders and Bid Form will be furnished upon request. A bidder may not withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the offices of the Mount Zion Public Service District, 4418 South Calhoun Hwy, Grantsville West Virginia 26147, on May 29th, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders. The Mount Zion Public Service District reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders must certify that they do not and will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed or national origin. Federal Law prohibits discrimination on the grounds of race, color, national origin, religion, age, handicap and sex in this project. Minority firms are particularly encouraged to participate.
