NOTICE OF FILING On March 18, 2025, Landfill Services of Charleston, Inc. (LSC) filed notice of its intent to cease operations and close its landfill facility located in Charleston. The landfill operator projects the last day it will be able to accept waste is June 27, 2025. LSC intends to provide notice to its customers in advance of closing the facility. The facility operator is contractually obligated to pay the closure and post-closure expenses. A complete description of the request is available online from the Public Service Commission website: www.psc.state.wv.us Anyone desiring to protest or intervene should file a written protest notice or petition to intervene within ten days following the date of this publication. All protests or requests to intervene should briefly state the reason for the protest or intervention petition. Requests to intervene should comply with the applicable Commission rules.
