Rutherford, Sheriff of Kanawha County, West Virginia (hereinafter sometimes referred to as “the aforementioned respondents”), that a Petition for Condemnation/Right of Entry has been filed in the Circuit Court of Kanawha County, West Virginia, and is known as Civil Action No. CC-20-2025-C-577, and styled AEP West Virginia Transmission Company, Inc. vs. Sturgill Lee Jones, et al. Said Petition for Condemnation/Right of Entry under the West Virginia laws of eminent domain seeks property for the construction of electrical transmission, distribution, and communication lines and appurtenant equipment and fixtures, and condemnation and right of entry on behalf of AEP West Virginia Transmission Company, Inc. situate on the north side of Allen’s Fork Road in Poca District, Kanawha County, West Virginia, identified as Tax Map 11, Parcel 0038, and recorded in the office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Kanawha County, West Virginia, in Deed Book 3129, at page 378, and being more specifically bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin in the northerly line of said Allen’s Fork Road and corner to the 2-acre lot conveyed by the first parties herein to David Larry Kline and Linda Lou Kline, his wife, by deed dated February 18, 1967, recorded in the office of the Clerk of the County Court of Kanawha County, West Virginia, in Deed Book No. 1484, page 60: thence running with the northerly line of said Allen’s Fork Road in an easterly direction down said road a distance of 730 feet, more or less, to the westerly edge of a concrete culvert with walnut tree marker; thence leaving said road and culvert and running up the hill in a northerly direction with a branch a distance of 2431 feet, more or less, to a black oak in the line of land owned by Jacob A. Weatherhold; thence running with the line of Weatherhold in a northwesterly direction 338 feet, more or less, to a black oak tree corner to the land of C.O. Slater; thence running with the fence line of C.O. Slater’s land in a southwesterly direction 2810 feet, more or less, to an iron pin corner to the land of Patrick L. Smith; thence with the line of Patrick L. Smith land in a southerly direction 92 feet to an iron pin corner to the land of David Latry Kline; thence with the line of said Kline property in an easterly direction 416 feet to an iron pin; thence continuing with the line of said Kline property in a southwesterly direction 208 feet to an iron pin in the northerly line of the Allen’s Fork Road, the place of beginning, containing 30 acres, more or less. The aforementioned respondents are hereby notified a copy of said Petition for Condemnation/Right of Entry may be obtained from the Kanawha County Circuit Clerk’s office at 111 Court Street, Charleston, West Virginia, 25301, for the purposes of appearing and defending.
