DATE: MAY 16, 2025 TO: POTENTIAL BIDDERS E. Your firm is invited to submit an offer under seal to Owner for the renovation of Ceredo-Kenova Alumni Gymnasium located at: Wayne County Schools, 212 North Court Street, Wayne, WV 25570 Before 2:00 pm local standard time on the 10th day of June, 2025. F. All Prime Bidders are required to attend a Pre-Bid Meeting at 2:00 pm local standard time on the 27th day May, 2025 at the Ceredo-Kenova,Alumni Gymnasium at Walnut Street, Kenova, WV 25530. Attendance is mandatory and Prime Bidders who fail to attend will have their bid disqualified. G. Bid Documents for a Stipulated Sum contract may be obtained from the office of the C&B Blueprint, Inc., 824 6th Street, Huntington, WV 25701 upon receipt of a refundable deposit, by cash, in the amount of $250 for one set. Please refer to the list of Bid Depositories within Bidding Documents for additional viewing options. Partial Construction Document sets will not be issued. H. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security, including all add alternates, in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. Bid Bond form is included in Project Manual. I. Bidders will be required to provide a Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond each equal to one hundred percent of the Contract amount. Bonds forms are included in Project Manual. J. Bidders will be required to complete the work (substantial completion) within 275 days calendar days for the notice to proceed date. If a delay occurs in the completion of the work, the successful bidder shall pay the Owner liquidated damages equal to $500 for each calendar day until the project is substantially completed. K. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. L. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. M. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers. N. Per SBA Policy & Procedures Manual, Section 400.05, West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act of 1991, all Contractors doing business in West Virginia must be licensed to perform work in the State; the Contractor’s WV License number must be affixed to all submitted construction bids and fully executed and binding construction contracts or agreements.
