ORDER OF PUBLICATION The above-styled civil action is to quiet title in a certain tract of real property located in Cabell County, West Virginia, and owned by Meredith Spurlock, and potentially by some or all of the defendants herein, and the object of this Order of Publication is to Effectuate Service of Process on the defendants, whose identities and locations are unknown to the plaintiff. To: THE UNKNOWN HEIRS OF CAM MARTIN, THE UNKNOWN HEIRS OF SUSIE SPURLOCK, THE UNKNOWN HEIRS OF DOROTHY CHILDERS, THE UNKNOWN HEIRS OF NELL SHELTON, THE UNKNOWN HEIRS OF FERBIE BORDERS, and THE UNKNOWN HEIRS OF LUCY LUCANS (aka LYCANS) It appearing by Complaint filed in this action that the Plaintiff desires to have legal title to the subject property quieted in her favor. That by affidavit filed herein, the whereabouts and address of the defendants are unknown at the present time. It is therefore ORDERED that the defendants, and/or any persons who may so object to the requested relief, appear at the hearing of this Complaint to be held at the CABELL County Courthouse, in the Circuit Courtroom, before the Honorable Paul T. Farrell, Circuit Judge, on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. or otherwise serve their response upon Scott D. Maddox, counsel for Petitioner, whose address is 2320 Adams Avenue, Huntington, West Virginia 25704, on or before August 20, 2019. Failure to appear or respond will result in Plaintiff seeking the relief requested in the Complaint filed herein.
