ORDER OF PUBLICATION The object of the above-entitled suit is to seek an Order forfeiting the herein described property/currency pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act (Chapter 60A, Article 7, of the West Virginia code, as amended) to the State of West Virginia. TO: Any claimant of a right or interest in said property listed as DEFENDANT(S) NICHOLAS EUGENE HUNT, ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED and FORTY-TWO DOLLARS (1,542.00) in U.S. CURRENCY AND SAMANTHA RENEE BROWNING, SEVENTY-NINE DOLLARS ($79.00) IN U. S. CURRENCY AND ANY OTHER UNKNOWN PARTIES OF INTEREST. “You have the right to file a claim to the above-described property within the time specified hereafter. Any such claim must clearly state the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon said claimant. It is appearing by affidavit filed in the case that last known address of Nicholas Eugene Hunt and Samantha Renee Browning, 1567 Short Branch Road, Panther North Matewan, West Virginia 25688. That the above-named individual defendant(s) was/were in the possession of the above referred property in Mingo County, West Virginia, when it was seized by officer(s) of the West Virginia State Police/U. S. 119 Violent Crime and Drug Task Force. THEREFORE, it is ORDERED that Nicholas Eugene Hunt and Samantha Renee Browning and or any other claimant(s) serve upon Ricky Brock Mounts Prosecuting Attorney of Mingo County, West Virginia at 78 East 2nd Avenue, Suite 201, Williamson West Virginia, 25661, (304-235-0350), an answer or other defense to the complaint filed in this action on or 30 days before date of publication, otherwise, judgment by default will be taken against the Defendants/Claimants at any time thereafter. Such order requested of the Court will be direct forfeiture of the seized property to the state and vesting ownership of such property in the U. S. 119 Violent Crime and Drug Task Force.
