REQUEST FOR BIDS The McDowell County Commission, through the Elkhorn Creek Tug Fork Watershed Project, is seeking sealed bids for the services of a Certified Real Estate Appraisal Reviewer to do a desk review of the appraised fair market values of approximately 30 properties submitted to McDowell County throughout the Elkhorn Creek floodplain area. Any interested parties should submit sealed bids, including per-unit pricing, for appraisal and/or appraisal review. Proposals should be clearly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope “Elkhorn Creek Project Bid Proposal” and mailed to the McDowell County Clerk’s Office at Attn.: Linda White 90 Wyoming Street Suite 109 Welch, WV 24801 or delivered to the McDowell County Clerk’s Office by July 23 at noon and marked accordingly sealed bid. All bids will be opened at the County Commission meeting to be held on July 23, 2025 at 4 pm at the Welch Armory located at 600 Stewart Street Welch, WV 24801 and costs read aloud at this time.
