INVITATION TO BID Owners: Putnam County Commission Job: Putnam County Animal Shelter Industrial Washer/ Dryer Project Sealed bids for Putnam County Animal Shelter Industrial Washer/Dryer Project at Winfield, WV, will be received by the Offices of the Putnam County Commission at 12093 Winfield Road, Winfield, WV 25213, until 4:00pm local prevailing time on August 26, 2025, all complete bids will be publicly opened and read aloud during the County Commission Meeting beginning at 5:00pm. The project involves the purchase and installation of an industrial washing machine and industrial dryer to be used at the Putnam County Animal Shelter. All equipment and materials must be supplied by the bidder. There is no deposit required for Bid Packages and all printing costs incurred by bidders are non-refundable. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance, Labor and Material Payment, and Maintenance Bond for 100% of the contract award. All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractor’s Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form. Also all General Contractors shall attach a signed Putnam County Alcohol & Drug-Free Workplace Resolution and Construction Bid Policy Affidavit to their Bid Proposal. A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. e.s.t. at the Putnam County Commission Chambers located at Second Floor, Putnam County Courthouse, Winfield, West Virginia. All bidders are encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid meeting to familiarize themselves with the project location, site conditions, and other relevant information.
