IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF BOONE COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA CIVIL ACTION NO: CC-03-2024-C-100 STATE OF WEST VIRGINIA, BY ITS PROSECUTING ATTORNEY OF BOONE COUNTY, for and on behalf of the US 119 VIOLENT TASK FORCE, PLAINTIFF VS. ZEIDAN ANNA, KHALD KHALED, ABDULKHALEQ SALEH SALEM, DANVILLE TOBACCO AND VAPE CORP., UNITED STATES CURRENCY IN THE SUM OF TEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED NINETY-SIX DOLLARS AND TEN CENTS ($10,696.10), THAT CERTAIN PARCEL OF REAL ESTATE KNOWN AS 1108 SMOOT AVENUE, DANVILLE, WV 25053 (AS DESCRIBED IN BOONE COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE, DANVILLE DISTRICT, MAP 4, PARCEL 0150-0001), and ANY OTHER UNKNOWN PARTIES OF INTEREST, DEFENDANTS ORDER OF PUBLICATION OF NON RESIDENCY The object of the above-entitled suit is to seek an Order forfeiting the herein described property/currency pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act (Chapter 60A, Article 7, of the West Virginia code, as amended) to the State of West Virginia. TO: DEFENDANTS ZEIDAN ANNA and KHALD KHALED, having a claim of a right or interest in UNITED STATES CURRENCY IN THE SUM OF TEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED NINETY-SIX DOLLARS AND TEN CENTS ($10,696.10): “You have the right to file a claim to the above-described property within the time specified hereafter. Any such claim must clearly state the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon said claimant. An affidavit has been filed in the above styled case that Defendants Zeidan Anna and Khald Khaled are non-residents of the State of West Virginia and for whom no agent or appointed or statutory attorney-in-fact is found in the State upon whom service may be had. The Complaint alleges that the above-named individual defendant(s) was/were in possession of the above referred property in Boone County, West Virginia, when it was seized by officer(s) of the U.S. 119 Drug and Violent Crime Task Force. THEREFORE, it is ORDERED that ZEIDAN ANNA and KHALD KHALED serve upon Daniel L. Holstein, Prosecuting Attorney of Boone County, West Virginia at 200 State Street, Suite 304, Madison West Virginia, 25130, an answer or other defense to the complaint filed in this action on or before the 14th day of November, 2025, otherwise, judgment by default will be taken against the Defendants/Claimants at any time thereafter. Such judgment of the Court will direct forfeiture of the seized property to the State and vesting ownership of such property in the U.S. 119 DRUG AND VIOLENT CRIME TASK FORCE.
