PUBLIC NOTICE WAYNE COUNTY SCHOOLS INVITATION TO BID – MOWING SERVICES (2026 SEASON) Wayne County Schools is accepting sealed bids from qualified lawn care contractors to provide mowing and grounds maintenance services for designated school properties for the 2026 mowing season. Bid Release Date: March 2, 2026 Sealed Bids Due: March 18, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Bid Opening: March 18, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., at the Wayne County Schools Central Office. Location: Wayne County Schools, PO Box 70, 212 North Court Street, Attn: Matt Stanley, Wayne, WV 25570 Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Mowing Bid 2026.” Bid packets include full specifications, scope of work, safety requirements, zone assignments, and bid sheets. The Board may award one contractor for all three zones, a contractor for a combination of zones, or separate contractors for individual zones, and reserves the right to award multiple contractors within a zone if necessary.
