PUBLIC NOTICE Notice of Public Comment Period and Public Hearing Boone County Housing & Redevelopment Authority Draft 2025 Annual PHA Plan , 2025-2029 Five-Year PHA Plan and 2025-2029 Capital Fund 5-Year Action Plan The Boone County Housing & Redevelopment Authority has prepared its draft Annual Public Housing Agency (PHA) Plan for 2025, its draft Five-Year PHA Plan for 2025-2029, draft 2025-2029 Capital Fund 5-Year Action Plan, draft Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP), and draft Administrative Plan in accordance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations. These plans outline the Authority’s mission, goals, and objectives for meeting the housing needs of low-income families and include updates to policies governing public housing and the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program. The proposed plans and supporting documents will be available for public review at the Authority’s office located at: 824 Lick Creek Road Danville, WV 25053 Office hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Public comments will be accepted in writing during the comment period, which will run from March 18, 2026 to May 6, 2026.
