NOTICE At a meeting held on May 26, 2026, the Town Council of Gilbert approved, on first reading, an Ordinance establishing a Sales and Use Tax within its municipal boundaries. In accordance with 8-11-4(a)(2), of the West Virginia Code, notice is hereby given that the Town of Gilbert’s Sales and Use Tax Ordinance will be available for public inspection starting May 26, 2026, at Gilbert Town Hall, located 5 Wharncliffe Avenue, Gilbert, WV 25621. A second reading regarding the Sales and Use Tax Ordinance by the Gilbert Town Council will be held on June 9, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at Gilbert Town Hall (same location and address as above), at which time the public and any and all interested parties may appear at said meeting and have the opportunity to be heard prior to the second reading and potential final adoption.
