NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Boone County Commission will accept Sealed Bids until 4:00 pm on Monday, July 20, 2026, at its offices at the Boone County Courthouse Annex, 206 Court Street, Madison, WV 25130, for the following: Excavate Site and Construct Basketball/Pickleball Court For John Slack Park Racine, West Virginia Specifications can be obtained from the offices of the Boone County Commission, 206 Court Street, Madison, WV 25130, or by calling (304) 369-7301. Bid opening will take place on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 5:00 pm. Mandatory pre-bid meeting/walk through on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 9:00 am. To be eligible to bid you must attend the pre-bid meeting/walk through. Bidders must submit their bids on the BID SHEET at the end of these Specifications. All bids must be clearly marked with the words “SEALED BID – EXCAVATE SITE AND CONSTRUCT BASKETBALL/PICKLEBALL COURT” and the time and date of bid opening, on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the bid is enclosed. All bids submitted must remain intact for 60 days after the bid opening date without withdrawing or altering the respective bid. Absolutely NO bids will be accepted if received after the above-stated deadline. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. These specifications are intended to be minimum standards specifications and are not meant to eliminate any prospective bidders on minor variations from the specifications. However, any deviations from these specifications must be pointed out and explained on the BID SHEET.
