CITY OF LEWISBURG GREENBRIER COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA LEWISBURG CITY HALL – ROOF REPLACEMENT FEBRUARY 2020 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Lewisburg at City Hall, 942 Washington Street West, Lewisburg, West Virginia 24901, for the Lewisburg City Hall Roof Replacement, until 2:00 P.M., L.P.T., April 9, 2020. The total base bid price for the contract shall include the costs for furnishing labor and materials and performing all work set forth in the Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Forms of Proposal, General Conditions, Supplemental General Conditions, and Plans and Detail Specifications prepared by Chapman Technical Group. The work to be bid upon is described as follows: Renovations of the existing building include but are not limited to: The removal of the existing roof to the deck and replacement of new EPDM roof system and copings at the Lewisburg City Hall as indicated in the Contract Documents. The project is identified as Lewisburg City Hall Roof Replacement, and is shown on Contract Documents prepared by Chapman Technical Group, dated February 2020. Construction time limit is 60 calendar days for. Dodge Corporation www.dodge.construction.com The Contractor’s Association of WV 2114 Kanawha Boulevard East Charleston, West Virginia 25311 Plans and Specifications MUST be obtained by each Bidder from the office of Chapman Technical Group, 200 Sixth Avenue, St. Albans, West Virginia 25177, telephone (304) 727-5501, upon payment of a $50.00 non-refundable deposit. If plans and specifications are requested to be mailed by the Engineer, Bidders shall pay an additional $10 for the cost of shipping. Purchase is also available at www.chaptech.com. Failure of any bidder to purchase plans, specifications, and contract documents from the Engineer prior to submittal of bid will result in rejection of said bid. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, made payable to the Owner, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, in accordance with the Instruction to bidders. All prospective Bidders must attend a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference to be held at City Hall located at 942 Washington Street West, Lewisburg, WV 24901, at 2:00 P.M., L.P.T., on March 31, 2020, for the purpose of discussing the project and touring the project site. All questions must be submitted by each Bidder in writing by 2:00 PM, April 6, 2020 in order to allow for addenda if needed. No questions after such date will be answered.
