INVITATION TO BID Owners: Putnam County Commission Job: Storage Facility Project Sealed bids for the Putnam County Storage Facility will be received by the Offices of the Putnam County Commission at 12093 Winfield Road, Winfield, WV 25213, until 9:00am local prevailing time on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at which time and place all complete bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. After opening, the bids will be compared as to quality, thoroughness and cost by the Owner. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals not conforming to the specifications or deemed not to be in the best interest of the County. Bidders interested in submitting bids MUST contact County Engineer, Timothy Smith, by email at [email protected] or by calling 304-586-0237 to request a Bid Specification Package. There will be a pre-bid meeting on Friday, May 1st at 10:00am by conference call. Details for the meeting will be distributed with the Bid Specification Package. A certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance, Labor and Material Payment, and Maintenance Bond for 100% of the contract award.
