NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS To maintain necessary clearances for safe and reliable electric service, Appalachian Power Company plans to manage vegetation along the Loudendale-Connell Rd. portion of its 12 kilovolt distribution system in Kanawha County, WV. On or about May 4th, 2020 contract crews will begin to trim and remove trees and brush and apply herbicides along our rights-of-way. Work will be done in accordance with International Society of Arboriculture guidelines and take into account factors such as tree species, growth characteristics, line voltage, etc. In unmaintained or undeveloped areas cuttings will remain on site so as to minimize soil disturbance and to promote biodegradation. Rights-of-way in this area involved in the program include, but are not limited to: Alexandria Pl., Bedford Rd., Bridge Rd., Brookstone Rd., Cane Fork Rd., Cauliflower Ln., Colonial Way, Connell Rd., Ferrell Hollow Rd., Gats Creek Rd., Jamestown Rd., Johnson Rd., Kanawha State Forest Dr., Kenwood Rd., Loudon Heights Rd., Loudendale Ln., Meadowcrest Dr., Morningside Dr., Mt. Alpha Rd., Mt. Vernon Rd., Pennington Ln., Range Rd., Sugar Camp Br., Tanner Rd., Tudor Rd., Turley Rd., Whippoorwill Way, Williamsburg Way, Woodmere Dr., and Woodvale Dr. Representatives will attempt to personally contact resident property owners at least seven business days prior to working on their property.
