PUTNAM PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT PUTNAM COUNTY, WV ARROW CONCRETE LIFT STATION REPAIR PROJECT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of: Putnam PSD – Arrow Concrete Lift Station Repair Project Contract No. 1 – Project would eliminate infiltration, repair voids, restore structural integrity and provide corrosion protection by the application of a spray-applied monolithic resin liner to the wall and bench surfaces of a 12′ diameter concrete sewage lift station. Project would also include the replacement of existing 10″ diameter ductile iron pipe in wet well. Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract No. 1 will be received by Mike McNulty (General Manager) at the office of the Putnam PSD; 107 South Poplar Fork Road, Scott Depot WV 25560, until 2:00 p.m. local time on May 28, 2020, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. A pre-bid meeting will be conducted at the Putnam PSD Office at 10:30 a.m. on May 12, 2020. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. Robinson Engineering, 5088 Washington Street West, Charleston, WV 25313 Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon payment of a deposit of $50.00 for each set. Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within 30 days after receipt of Bids will receive a full refund. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to “E.L. Robinson Engineering Company”. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must comply with the Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the West Virginia Jobs Act (West Virginia Code 21-1C-1). All Bidders must hold a current WV Contractor License on the date of Bid opening. Any Contractor submitting a bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he/she has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statues of the State of West Virginia, and subdivision in which the work is to be performed.
