Request for Proposals The Pocahontas County Solid Waste Authority (PCSWA) is requesting proposals for the processing of the following recyclable materials collected by the authority: Group 1 – White goods and scrap metal collected at Pocahontas County Landfill, Dunmore, WV. Group 2 – Used tires collected at Pocahontas County Landfill. Group 3 – Electronics collected at Pocahontas County Landfill. All interested vendors must mark their sealed proposals “Recycling Contract Proposal”. All proposals must be signed by a responsible official of the vendor and received by the PCSWA, 900-H Tenth Avenue, Marlinton, WV 24954, by Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Vendors may submit a proposal to process one group of recyclables or a combination of groups. Proposals are good for thirty (30) days. The PCSWA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The Recycling Contract will cover a period of one (1) year commencing on July 1, 2020 and ending on June 30, 2021. Either party may terminate this contract at any point during the term without cause and upon supplying a ninety (90) day written notice to the other party.
