NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS To maintain necessary clearances for safe and reliable electric service, Appalachian Power Company plans to manage vegetation along the Bridge – Venable portion of its 12 kilovolt distribution system in Kanawha County, WV. On or about May 26, 2020 contract crews will begin to apply herbicides along our rights-of-way. Rights-of-way in this area involved in the program are: Various locations throughout the Kanawha City area of Charleston, beginning at the substation near 35th St SE, continuing southeast encompassing the area between Kanawha Ave. SE, and Chesterfield Ave, and 35th St. SE, to 52nd St. SE, also including Glenridge Rd., Moosemont Rd., Muirfield Ct., and Lower Donnally Rd. Representatives will attempt to personally contact resident property owners at least seven business days prior to working on their property. Specifics regarding your property may be discussed at that time.
