NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS To maintain necessary clearances for safe and reliable electric service, Appalachian Power Company plans to manage vegetation along the Kanawha City – South MacCorkle portion of its 12 kilovolt distribution system in Kanawha County, WV. On or about May 26, 2020 contract crews will begin to apply herbicides along our rights-of-way. Rights-of-way in this area involved in the program are: 58th St. SE thru 52nd St. SE, Chesterfield Ave., Victory Ave., MacCorkle Ave. SE., Lancaster Ave., Venable Ave., Toledo Ave., and Washington Ave. SE. Representatives will attempt to personally contact resident property owners at least seven business days prior to working on their property.
