ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Pendleton County Board of Education invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for the Camera Security System Package for the Pendleton County Middle/High School. Sealed bids will be received at the offices of the Pendleton County Board of Education, 58 Walnut Street, P.O. Box 888, Franklin, West Virginia, 26807 until 3:30 p.m., local time, on June 1, 2020 at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read. Complete hard copy sets of drawings and specifications may be obtained from the office of the Pendleton County Board of Education, 58 Walnut Street, Franklin, WV 26807. Please contact Tim Johnson, Director of Facilities for the documents at 304-358-2207, ext. 123 or via email at tajohnson@k12.wv.us Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, made payable to the Owner, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid. Any contractor submitting a bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he/she has all appropriate licenses and meets all the qualifications required by statutes of the state of West Virginia and will comply with the necessary statutes for public improvements. In addition the bidder certifies that they will be in compliance with any Davis-Bacon Act requirements. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall execute and deliver to the Owner within 10 days after the award, and before signing the contract, a corporate surety bond in a penal sum equal to at least the contract sum and the cost of such bond shall be paid by the bidder.
