INVITATION FOR BIDS CELL 7B EARTHWORKS CONSTRUCTION TUCKER COUNTY LANDFILL TUCKER COUNTY SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY DAVIS, WEST VIRGINIA The Tucker County Solid Waste Authority is seeking bids for the construction of Cell 7B at its solid waste landfill facility located in Davis, WV. The project will have the following major components: Excavation – approximately 3,250 cubic yards: Structural Fill – approximately 3,000 cubic yards; Subbase – approximately 3,125 cubic yards; Soil Liner – approximately 6,250 cubic yards; Liner System Anchor Trench and Tie-in Exposure – approximately 1,000 linear feet; Leachate Piping – approximately 2,200 linear feet; Revegetation – approximately 2.0 acres; and Other associated items. The Invitation for Bids, required bidding forms, and plans can be obtained by contacting CENTEC Engineering, PLLC at (304)929-2632 or [email protected]. All plans and specifications will be available electronically at no cost to the bidder. They will be available after June 5, 2020. These documents contain specific requirements concerning the delivery of the bids and required documents. There will be a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting and site visit at the landfill office on June 10, 2020 at 10:00 am. All bids are due by 11:00 am, June 24, 2020. Any bid can be rejected in whole or in part as determined appropriate by the Tucker County Solid Waste Authority.
