INVITATION FOR BIDS The Mingo County Commission, 78 East 2nd Ave, Room 308, Williamson, Mingo County, West Virginia is seeking sealed bids for the replacement of the roof on the Mingo County Courthouse. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a mandatory pre-bid conference will be held via ZOOM video conferencing beginning at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. General information will be given at this meeting and appointments will be scheduled for interested companies to come and tour the project area. Contact Leigh Ann Ray, project manager, at 304-235-0338 to get obtain the meeting number and access code. Bids will be accepted by hand delivery to Leigh Ann Ray, project manager, at her office located on the third floor of the main courthouse, Room 308-B, or by U.S. mail addressed as follows: Diann Hannah, Mingo County Commission president; Attention: Leigh Ann Ray; 78 East Second Ave., Room 308-B, Williamson, WV 25661. Bids will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Mingo County Commission regular meeting session scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope “BIDDER – COURTHOUSE ROOF PROJECT”. The Mingo County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities on the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 30 days of after the date of the bid opening. The successful bidder will enter into a contract agreeable to the Mingo County Commission.
