Request for Bids The Village of Barboursville is now accepting bids for a 20 cubic yard rear load refuse packer, complete with four cyl. push out system, 3.2 cubic yard hopper with 1/4-inch floor. The hopper shall be fast packed with inside cylinder, 12,000 pound hydraulic wench with guide brackets and safety latches. The cab and chassis with Cummins 300 HP, 860 lb-ft torque diesel engine with exhaust brake, should have an automatic transmission with 30,000 rear axle, the tires shall be rated for 12,000 lb, air ride driver seat, two person passenger seat, air conditioning, am/fm/wb radio and all standard equipment. Detailed specifications may be acquired from the recorders office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Sealed bids marked (refuse truck) will be due July 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., public opening will be in the community center, social distancing requirements will be observed.
