TOWN OF EAST BANK, WEST VIRGINIA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Common Council of the Town of East Bank (“Town”) will hold a public hearing to consider the enactment of an ordinance under which the Town would sell its water system distribution assets to West Virginia-American Water Company (“WVAW”) under the terms of provisions of a proposed Purchase Agreement between the Town and WVAW. If the Ordinance is enacted and the transaction is approved by the Public Service Commission of West Virginia and completed in accordance with the Purchase Agreement, the Town’s current water customers would become customers of WVAW. The public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on July 14, 2020 at the Town Hall. At the public hearing, the Council will accept comments from the public on the ordinance and the proposed sale.
