ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS MINGO COUNTY COMMISSION P25 SIRN MOBILE RADIOS The Mingo County Commission (MCC) is seeking sealed bids for the purchase and installation of P25 SIRN Radios. The scope of work for this project is as follows: Program and Install P25 SIRN mobile radios in various fire apparatus for the following fire departments: Baisden – 2 mobile radios Kermit – 6 mobile radios Wharncliffe – 4 mobile radios This will include the following: P25 Kenwood NX-5800 K2 trunking radios that are on the top tier of the WV SIRN approval list with remote heads. Wide Band Antennas, face plates, and all hardware to mount in vehicle. Programming and Installation. 1-year warranty on the installation. Any additional accessories will be at subject to the individual Department, they are not included in this scope of work. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10 a.m., July 28, 2020, in Room 136 of the Mingo County Courthouse, 78 East 2nd Ave., Williamson, W.Va., to view the project. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing guidelines will be enforced and it is requested that all attendees wear facial coverings. Sealed bids must be submitted in an envelope, a bid bond equal to five (5) percent of the total base bid with power of attorney; evidence of a valid West Virginia SIRN programming certificate; certification of EEO, Drug Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit, and certification of receipt of all Addenda.
