LINCOLN COUNTY SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY P. O. BOX 351 HAMLIN, WV 25523 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO COLLECT, PROCESS, LOAD, TRANSPORT AND MARKET ELECTRONICS EQUIPMENT FOR RECYCLING The Lincoln County Solid Waste Authority (LCSWA) in Hamlin, WV is requesting proposals from vendors who are qualified to provide services to collect, process, load, transport and market electronic equipment for recycling including, but not limited to: CPU’s, telephones, radios, monitors, printers, televisions, microwave ovens, answering machines, CD players, copiers, typewriters, fax machines, hard drives, lap tops, cell phones, modems, pagers, personal computers, scanners, keyboards, stereos, tape players, telephones, VCR’s and test equipment. The selected vendor will recycle all electronic equipment through any and all available markets and comply with all federal, state and local regulations, and must provide evidence that they have made a good faith attempt to adhere to the “R2” Practices for Electronic Recyclers or similar industry guidelines. The proposal should reflect all costs associated with mobilization and site set-up on the day of the collection, unloading of vehicles, segregation and packaging of materials, completion of all required documentation, transportation of material off site, clean up of site, and submission to LCSWA of final tonnage reports of types of material collected. The date of the Collection Event is Sept. 12, 2020, and will be held at the Lincoln County High School. Proposals must be received by 4:00 pm, Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2020. The proposals will be reviewed by the members of the Lincoln County Solid Waste Authority. The Lincoln County Solid Waste Authority reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any and all proposals, to reject any and all proposals, and to negotiate with the apparent qualified company to such an extent as may be necessary. Proposals should be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled on the outside as “Proposal for Electronic Collection.” The mailing address is Lincoln County Solid Waste Authority, P.O.
