INVITATION TO BID The Tri-State Transit Authority (TTA) will accept sealed bids for the Pre-engineered Bus Passenger Shelters until Monday, August 24, 2020 10:00 am EST at 1120 Virginia Avenue West, Huntington, West Virginia, 25704 and then at said offices all bids will be publicly opened and read. The contract documents and specifications may be obtained from Jennifer Woodall, Assistant General Manager at the above address. Telephone requests should be made to (304) 529-6094. Fax request should be made by faxing your request to (304) 529-7300. Written requests should be made to: The Tri-State Transit Authority, P.O. Box 7965, Huntington, West Virginia 25779. Bids should sealed and clearly marked ” Pre-engineered Bus Passenger Shelters.” TTA reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding on such basis as the Authority deems to be in its best interest. Any contract resulting from bids submitted is subject to a financial assistance contract between TTA and the U.S. Department of Transportation. All bidders will be required to certify that they are not on the Comptroller General’s List of Ineligible bidders. Successful bidder is required to comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations. TTA hereby notifies bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises shall be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration of an award.
