No.: WV0103675 Applicant: HANDLEY, TOWN OF PO BOX 100 HANDLEY, WV 25102 Location: HANDLEY, KANAWHA COUNTY Latitude: 38:10:58 Longitude: 81:20:30 Receiving Stream: Upper Kanawha River Activity: To operate and maintain an existing wastewater collection system. The sewage collection system is designed to serve approximately 685 persons in the Town of Handley. The sewage collection system conveys the wastewater to the City of Montgomery’s wastewater treatment plant for subsequent treatment. Business conducted: Municipality Implementation: N/A On the basis of review of the application, the “Water Pollution Control Act (Chapter 22, Article 11-8(a)),” and the “West Virginia Legislative Rules,” the State of West Virginia will act on the above application. Any interested person may submit written comments on the draft permit and may request a public hearing by addressing such to the Director of the Division of Water and Waste Management within 30 days of the date of the public notice. The Director shall hold a public hearing whenever a finding is made, on the basis of requests, that there is a significant degree of public interest on issues relevant to the Draft Permit(s).
