BID PROPOSAL The City of Dunbar will be accepting bids from qualified contractors to repair/replace sections of Stevens Drive in the City of Dunbar. Bids will be received until 1:30pm August 12, 2020 in the Dunbar City Clerk’s Office at 210 12th Street, Dunbar, WV 25064, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after the specified time and date will not be opened and will be rejected. Interested parties should contact Hugh Leishman, Building Inspector at 304-766-0217 to make arrangements to visit the site to review the work to be performed. Work will include saw cutting the existing pavement, removal of area to be repaired/replaced, pouring back 12″ of quick set high strength concrete tied to existing pavement, traffic control, removal of all construction debris and all other items of work necessary for a complete road restoration. All bids will be a lump sum bid based on the written scope of work provided. Only contractors that have made a site visit will be permitted to bid the work. The successful contractor must possess a current City of Dunbar contractor’s license and furnish copies of current liability insurance and workers compensation insurance coverage.
