ACCEPTING PROPOSALS The City of Dunbar is accepting proposals from individuals or companies wishing to secure a contract with the City of Dunbar to mow designated city owned vacant lots and court ordered mitigation orders for property maintenance (mowing) until 3:00pm August 14, 2020. This will be a contracted service. Individuals must have liability insurance and have a current contractor’s license. The vacant lot mowing will be at a lump sum negotiated price on two-week intervals unless ordered otherwise in writing. Court Ordered mitigation mowing will be within 48 hours of receipt of notice from the City. Court Ordered mitigation mowing will be negotiated on a case by case basis. Interested individuals can pick up a current list of vacant lots for mowing at the Dunbar City Clerk’s Office at 210 12th Street, Dunbar, WV between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
