Invitation For Bid The Kanawha Valley Regional Transportation Authority will receive bids to purchase new E450 cutaway buses or approved equals for its transit operations. These vehicles will be utilized in our fixed route operations, which provides public transportation services to the citizens of Kanawha County and visitors alike. Proposals will be received at Kanawha Valley Regional Transportation Authority’s general offices located at 1550 4th Avenue, Charleston, WV 25387, until 11:00am local time, Thursday, October 29, 2020 for this purchase.Bidding forms and specifications may be obtained from Clyde Tyler Jr., Director of Purchasing/EEO Officer, at 1550 4th Avenue, Charleston, WV 25387 by request via email at [email protected] bids will be directed to Clyde Tyler Jr., Director of Purchasing/EEO Officer, Kanawha Valley Regional Transportation Authority (KVRTA), 1550 4th Avenue, Charleston, WV 25387 securely sealed and plainly marked “E450 Cutaway Buses.” Bids will be opened on the date, time, and place previously stated.Any contract resulting from Invitation for Bid submitted will be subject to a financial assistance contract between the Authority and the US Department of Transportation.
