NOTICE IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF SUMMERS COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA CASE NUMBER: 2020-G-9 IN RE: JOHN WISNER AN ALLEGED PROTECTED PERSON NOTICE OF HEARING West Virginia Code: 44A-2-6 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a hearing on the petition filed in the above styled case, to determine whether a guardian and/or conservator should be appointed for the alleged Protected Person named above, will be held in the Circuit Court at the following location : Summers County Memorial Building, 451 1st Avenue, in the city of Hinton, in the State of West Virginia, on the 10th day of November, 2020 at the hour of 10:15 a.m. THE ALLEGED PROTECTED PERSON IS HEREBY INFORMED 1. You have the right to appear at the hearing. 2. You have the right to object to the proposed appointment. 3. You have the right to an attorney to represent you. POSSIBLE CONSEQUENCES OF A COURT FINDING THAT YOU ARE INCAPACITATED At the hearing you may lose many of your rights. A guardian may be appointed to make personal decisions for you. A conservator may be appointed to make decisions concerning your property and finances. The appointment may affect control of how you spend your money, how your property is managed and controlled, who makes your medical decisions, where you live, whether you are allowed to vote and other important rights.
