No.: WV0047775 Applicant: KANAWHA RIVER RAILROAD, L.L.C. 315 W 3RD STREET PITTSBURG, KS 66762 Location: QUINCY, KANAWHA COUNTY Latitude: 38:12:37 Longitude: 81:30:50 Receiving Stream: UNT/KANAWHA RIVER Activity: Operate and maintain a treatment and disposal system for the direct discharge of treated industrial wastes (fueling pad wash, fuel delivery area wash and storm water runoff) via Outlet 001 into an unnamed tributary of the Kanawha River. Tier 1 protection is provided for the uses specified in Title 47, Series 2. Business conducted: Primarily functions as classification yard where railroad cars on incoming trains are separated and reassigned to other trains. Other activities include locomotive refueling and minor service/repair. Implementation: N/A On the basis of review of the application, the “Water Pollution Control Act (Chapter 22, Article 11-8(a)),” and the “West Virginia Legislative Rules,” the State of West Virginia will act on the above application.
