Pocahontas County Board of Education NOTICE TO VENDORS The Pocahontas County Board of Education shall receive sealed bids by written proposal for 3/4 ton truck for the maintenance department. The sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., EST, December 14, 2020, at the office of the Pocahontas County Board of Education, 404 Old Buckeye Rd, Buckeye, WV 24924, where all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Faxes or emails will not be accepted. Specifications: Regular cab, 2 door, 3/4 ton pickup truck (new) 8 ft. bed with spray liner Preferably gasoline, 8 cylinder minimum for gas, will consider 6 cylinder diesel 4 Wheel drive Off road package: slip rear axle, traction lock differential, heavy duty engine cooling, skid plates, heavy duty suspension with gas shocks, tow hooks and all terrain tires A/C Tow package: integrated electric trailer brake controller, hitch and wiring Must include window sticker with bid. The bid shall also include maintenance proposal and delivery options. The proposal will be reviewed for price, locality, warranty, and maintenance agreement, and the Board of Education reserves the right to accept the proposal that, in its judgment, will best serve its interests.
