PUBLIC NOTICE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Date: December 1, 2020 WVCHIP Moving to Managed Care Effective January 1, 2021, the West Virginia Children’s Health Insurance Program (WVCHIP) will change from fee-for-service to managed care through Mountain Health Trust. WVCHIP members will choose coverage from one of three Mountain Health Trust managed care plans. There will be no change to WVCHIP benefits (covered services). Details on plan options and contact numbers for assistance will be mailed to WVCHIP members, families and participating providers. Copies of this notice are available through the West Virginia Secretary of State’s public notice website, http://www.sos.wv.gov, located under the Administrative Law Division in the Public Meeting section and are also available and posted at West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources county offices.
