NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS To maintain necessary clearances for safe and reliable electric service, Appalachian Power Company plans to manage vegetation along the Grassy Fork-Yawkey portion of its 34 kV Distribution system in Lincoln, Cabell, Kanawha, and Boone counties in WV. On or about January 11th, 2021, a helicopter will begin trimming trees away from power lines. A ground crew will follow up to remove tree trimmings from streams, roads and maintained areas. In unmaintained or undeveloped areas, trimmings will remain on site so as to minimize soil disturbance and to promote biodegradation.
