No.: WV0035637 Applicant: CEDAR GROVE, TOWN OF PO BOX 536 CEDAR GROVE, WV 25039 Location: CEDAR GROVE, KANAWHA COUNTY Latitude: 38:13:15 Longitude: 81:26:10 Receiving Stream: KANAWHA RIVER Activity: To operate and maintain an existing combined wastewater collection system. The facilities are to serve a population equivalent of approximately 1,700 persons in the Town of Cedar Grove, a portion of the Town of Glasgow, and environs, and convey wastewater to the Kanawha Public Service District’s wastewater treatment plant for ultimate treatment. Also, to operate and maintain disposal systems, best management practices, and the nine (9) minimum controls for the direct discharge of sanitary wastewater and storm water from Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Outlet No. C001 to the Kanawha River. This outlet is to discharge only when the hydraulic capacity of the collection system is exceeded during wet weather events. Tier 1 protection shall be afforded for the uses specified in 47 CSR 2 for the CSO outfall through implementation of the facility’s Long-term Control Plan.
