THE KANAWHA COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY is accepting written proposals from qualified firms to provide architectural and engineering services for – New two (2) story addition for new elevator at the St. Albans public library branch. Written proposals shall be submitted no later than 2:00 PM on Monday, February 1, 2021, by email, US Mail, or hand-delivery as provided below. It is expected that a recommendation for award of a contract to the top-ranked candidate as recommended by Library committee will be submitted to the Library Board at its regular meeting on Monday, February 8, 2021, at 4:00 PM. The purpose of this Request for Expression of Interest is to obtain proposals from qualified design firms interested in contracting with the Kanawha County Public Library to provide requested professional services regarding the design of addition for new elevator at the St. Albans Public Library branch, located at 602 Fourth Street, St. Albans, WV 25177 A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on-site at the St. Albans Library on Monday, January 25, 2021, at 10:30 AM for the purpose of discussing project plans and specifications and to allow interested parties to determine whether any unique conditions exist which might adversely affect the project. Proposals are preferred to be submitted by email in Abode Acrobat (PDF) format.
