ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Williamson Shriver Architects Project – Commission #2017-013 RFQ# 21-124 The Kanawha County Board of Education, Charleston, WV will receive bids for A New Herbert Hoover High School for Work Package #7 – Furnishings & Equipment, Proposals 7-2 Residential Appliances and Industrial Appliances, until 1:30 p.m., local prevailing time on February 25, 2021, at the office of the Purchasing Department for Kanawha County Schools, 3300 Pennsylvania Avenue, Charleston, WV 25302, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud or as designated by Dr. Thomas Williams, Superintendent, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. A MANDATORY PreBid Virtual Conference has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m., 11th of February 2021. The Board of Education of the County of Kanawha, Charleston WV reserves the right to reject any or all bids. A satisfactory bid bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of West Virginia, in an amount equal to five (5%) of the total amount of bid, payable to the Kanawha County Board of Education, shall be submitted with each Bid. Each (The) successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond and the fee for same shall be included in their bid.
