REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS THE COUNTY COMMISSION OF PUTNAM COUNTY AND THE PUTNAM COUNTY BUILDING COMMISSION The County Commission of Putnam County, Winfield, West Virginia, and the Putnam County Building Commission, Winfield, West Virginia (collectively, the “Commission”) request Statements of Qualifications from consulting engineering firms to provide professional services related to design, installation, construction and equipping of a fiberoptic broadband system in Putnam County. Interested persons or firms must email County Manager, Jeremy Young at [email protected] or by phone at 304.586.0201 to request detailed instructions for RFQ submittal. Submittals should be delivered to The County Commission of Putnam County, Attention: Jeremy Young, County Manager, 12093 Winfield Road, Winfield, West Virginia, 25213 by no later than 3:00 PM, Eastern Time Zone, March 5, 2021. Late submittals will not be considered. All questions should be directed to Jeremy Young, County Manager, 304.586.0201, [email protected] Attention is directed to the fact that the proposed project may be undertaken using various Federal and State funding sources. Evaluation and selection of engineering services will be in accordance with Chapter 5G-1-3 of the West Virginia Code. The intent of the competitive process is to objectively select the Consultant which will provide the highest quality of service at a reasonable fee. The Commission will afford full opportunity for minority business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, handicap, or national origin in the contract award. There are no mandatory participation requirements for small, women-owned, or minority-owned business enterprises. The Commission reserves the right to accept or reject, or waive any non-compliance with the requirements contained in, any or all responses to this Request for Statements of Qualifications. The Commission shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by any consulting engineering firm in connection with preparing any response to this Request for Statements of Qualifications.
