THE SOUTH CHARLESTON FIRE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION will be administering examinations to establish the list from which future promotional vacancies on the South Charleston Fire Department will be filled for the position of ASSISSTANT CHIEF. This list shall expire after 3 years in which another test will be given. Testing will be conducted on March 30, 2021, at 1800 hours. Location for testing will be at the South Charleston Community Center 601 Jefferson Rd South Charleston WV, 25309 This is an internal promotional examination. REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS: 1. Must meet the requirements of WV State Code 8-15-22. 2. Must fill out an application for position to be tested. Applications may be obtained at Station 1 Administrative Office, 315 4th Av South Charleston, WV, 25303.
