AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE Notice of Application Notice is given that Frontier West Virginia Inc. has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Modification Permit for one emergency backup generator located at the Frontier Communications Charleston Central Office on 1500 MacCorkle Avenue Southeast, in Charleston, in Kanawha County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 38.33794N, 81.62673W. After the modification, the applicant estimates the decreased potential to discharge of the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: 0.6 tons per year (tpy) to 0.32 tpy (after modification) for Carbon Monoxide and 1.2 tpy to 0.004 tpy (after modification) for Sulfur Dioxide. The other Regulated Air Pollutants will be as follows: 7.38 tpy for Oxides of Nitrogen; 0.41 tpy for Particulate Matter; 0.15 tpy for Volatile Organic Compounds; 0.0000622 tpy for Acetaldehyde; 0.0000194 tpy for Acrolein; 0.00191 tpy for Benzene; 0.000195 tpy for Formaldehyde; 0.000321 tpy for Napthalene; 0.000693 tpy for Toluene; and 0.000476 tpy for Xylenes. Startup of operations began in approximately 2000. Startup of the modified operations is planned to begin on or about the 1st day of June, 2021.
