INVITATION TO BID E911 COMMUNICATIONS CENTER RADIO SYSTEM The Mingo County Commission is requesting sealed bid proposals for a new radio console system, radios, and equipment for radio room upgrade for the E911 Communications Center located at 170 Airport Rd. Williamson, West Virginia. Radios and consoles must be compatible with an Eventide recording system. Distributors shall provide an itemized quote for furnishing all equipment and labor necessary for the replacement. Quotes shall include all applicable charges, including annual maintenance agreements with 24/7 support, however, it should be noted the Mingo County Commission is a tax-exempt entity. Three references within the E911 telecommunications field, including name, contact number and email address, are required with the bid submission. Each distributor shall contact Doug Goolsby, E911 director, via email at wvmedic505@yahoo.com or Lorene Vance, E911 deputy director, via email at lvtac@hotmail.com to arrange a mandatory pre-bid tour of the facility prior to bid submission. Any bid submitted by a company that did not participate in a pre-bid tour will not be considered. Contractor shall furnish the following documentation along with their bid submission: 1. West Virginia business license to sell and maintain radio equipment. 2. Certificate of liability insurance naming the Mingo County Commission as an additional insured $1,000,000 minimum general liability coverage. 3. Certificate of Coverage of Workers’ Compensation or approved waiver 4. Surety Bond 5. Affidavit of Non-Collusion 6. Completed NCIC background check forms for all employees that will be involved in the Installation. 7. Any additional documentation as required by the owner. The Mingo County Commission reserves the right to award the bid for the project based upon certain criteria, including but not limited to, submitted bid price, references, experience and/or any other factor determined to be in the best interest to the completion of the contract.
