INVITATION TO BID CLENDENIN DEMOLITION The Kanawha County Public Library is requesting written proposals from qualified firms to provide services for Demolition of the closed Clendenin Branch Public Library and site preparation. Written proposals shall be submitted no later than 2:00 PM on Monday, June 7, 2021, by email, US Mail, or hand-delivery as provided below. It is expected that a recommendation for award of a contract to the lowest qualified responsible bidder will be submitted to the Library Board at its regular meeting on Monday, June 14, 2021, at 4:00 PM. The purpose of this request is to obtain proposals from qualified construction firms interested in contracting with the Kanawha County Public Library to provide demolition and site clearance services at the unoccupied Clendenin Branch Public Library located at 1 Cardinal Street, Clendenin, WV 25045. An Optional Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on-site at the Clendenin Branch Public Library on Cardinal Street on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 10:00 AM for the purpose of discussing project plans and specifications and to allow interested parties to determine whether any no unique conditions exist which might adversely affect the project. Proposals are preferred to be submitted by email in Abode Acrobat (PDF) format. Proposals submitted by email should be sent with attached PDF document or documents with Subject Matter captioned “PROPOSAL FOR CLENDENIN BRANCH LIBRARY DEMOLITION PROJECT” to: [email protected] and with copy to [email protected] Proposals may also be submitted by hard copy.
