PUBLIC NOTICE Marshall University Research Corporation’s (MURC) Center for Environmental, Geotechnical and Applied Sciences (CEGAS) plans to submit an application for grant funding thru the Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) Regional and Local Planning program. The application will seek funding to conduct a Flood prone culvert study in Monroe and Summers Counties, WV. This project will involve assistance from Region I Planning & Development Council. The maximum grant award for this program is $250,000. Any individual, group, or agency may submit written comments on this proposed application to CEGAS (One John Marshall Drive, Huntington, WV 25755-2585) or email [email protected].
