ADVERTISEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES The Boone County Public Service District is accepting Statements of Interests from qualified persons or firms to provide engineering and construction management services which will include a cost analysis, design services including drawings, preparation of plans and specifications, bid documents, construction administration/management and observation services for the waterline extension to the proposed Boone County Resort to be located at the entrance of Route 85 and US 119 (Corridor G) and to Mountaineer Blvd to the proposed rustic resort. The Boone County PSD reserves the right to select an individual person or firm to complete this project based its ranking. The Selection Commission will select a firm and negotiate the contract. The Selection Committee will include the three Commissioners of the District. Procurement of said services would be in accordance with Chapter 5G-1-3 of the WV Code. Interested persons or firms must submit 4 copies of all requested information by July 12th, 2021, at noon to Nancy Shreve, General Manager, P. O. Box 287, Danville, WV 25053 to receive consideration. Proposals must include: 1) Experience of the firm with public financed projects. 2) Experience in design and management of this type of project. 3) Qualifications of personnel directly involved in the project. 4) Related prior experience. 5) Workload to fulfill the commitments. The selected person or firm will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Executive Order 11246, Section 109 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1974, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Conflict of Interest Statement and Access to Records provisions, Architect’s Certification and all other requirements as they relate to this project. The Selection Committee will interview and select the most qualified firm(s). The Boone County PSD will afford full opportunity to minority business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this request and will not discriminate against any firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, handicap or national origin.
